KOC Scholarship

Knights of Columbus Laurent Council #1305 offers financial scholarships each academic year for males pursuing post high school education by attending accredited colleges, universities or trade schools.
 
 
Scholarship Details:

• The number of scholarships awarded each year will vary depending upon quantity and quality of candidate applicants.
• One scholarship will be awarded to a descendant of a current or deceased Laurent Council #1305 member.  If no candidates are descendants of a Laurent Council #1305 member, that scholarship award will be made available to the open candidate pool.
• Additional scholarships will be awarded to qualified candidates from the entire candidate pool.
• Scholarship award is a one-time, non-renewable award.
• Scholarship applications will be available in January of each year.
• Scholarship application deadline is April 1st of each year.
• Recipients will be notified of award status and amount by May 1st of each year.
• Scholarship award amount is determined on an annual basis with a minimum award of $1,000. The award amount for 2019 is $1,000 per each scholarship.  
• Recipients will be awarded their scholarship funds with a personal check to them from Knights of Columbus Laurent Council #1305 at the successful completion of their first semester of attendance at their chosen institution.
